Job description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a FLT/ Warehouse Operative to join our team in Redditch.
We are looking for proactive people, who have a positive attitude and can work as part of an expanding team. As a FLT/ Warehouse Operative you will be expected to:
- Check for damaged or missing items
- Carry out stock counts as and when required
- Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
- Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency
- Make recommendations to aid efficiency and add value
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- FLT Reach Certificate
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Ability to work accurately and methodically
- Good communication skills
- Ability to plan and organise work
- Ability to accurately complete paperwork and count stock items
- An understanding of health and safety requirements
- Flexible approach to duties and tasks
- Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality
Hours
- 3 x 06:00 – 14:00 positions
- 3 x 14:00 – 22:00 positions
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £13.00 per hour
