JOB DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor the purpose of this role is to work as part of a team to ensure timely distribution of our products to customers. This will include liaising with the customer services team and other internal departments in order to safely achieve a cost effective and efficient running department.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using a hand held scanner.
- Packing of customer orders ensuring the product is protected for transportation and correctly labeled.
- Enter data onto a computerised system, including entering and printing of address labels for customer orders and amended stock.
- Document serial numbers
- Assist with the rotation of stock and re-stocking of products, including transfer of stock between sites.
- Assist with stock takes.
- Correctly label products ready for courier collection.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, accurately checking delivery notes.
- Prepare and assist goods in with dispatch of products, liaising with couriers and other transportation companies, as required.
- Communicate delivery discrepancies to Warehouse administration team.
- Meet daily targets, as set by Warehouse Manager / Supervisor to meet operational requirements.
- To comply with all Health and Safety procedures and ensure the working area remains safe.
