We are pleased to be recruiting for a Parts Manager within our offices in Uddingston. JOB TITLE - Warehouse and Storage Apprentice
Reporting to the Parts Manager.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Issuing and receiving of parts from manufacturers. Picking, Packing and Dispatching of parts for customers. Dealing with parts requests issued by Service Team.
Maintaining a tidy, suitable working environment within the Stores Department.
When required assisting the Technicians with quality checking of machinery. Opportunity to develop skills in building components.
The role is tasked with ensuring that all employees have access to the parts they need to carry out their job. It is a main requirement of the role to ensure these parts are stored in an organised fashion so they can be easily found when needed.
You may also be responsible for ordering new parts or supplies when required.
Successful candidate will be mentored through a Level 3 Apprenticeship Program, working towards a Level 3 qualification in Warehouse and Storage.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED
Successful candidate must,
- Have Good Numeracy
- Be Punctual
- Be Enthusiastic
- Have Computer Knowledge a Benefit, Not essential
Remuneration
- Salary will increase each year of Apprenticeship
- 29 days’ annual leave
- On-site parking
- On-site company gym & canteen facilities
- Flexible working hours between 8am-6pm Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
