Job description
The successful candidate will work within a small team in temperature controlled environment you will efficiently pick orders, stack pallets and load the vehicles, unload goods in and distribute the products onto either our vehicles or into the fridges. You will be required to work closely within your team and offer support to one another to achieve a smooth running of the shift. Therefore we require a reliable, highly motivated and organised.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurate assembly of customer orders.
Loading goods onto pallets in a safe, stable and manageable manner.
Loading pallets onto our delivery vehicles.
Unloading incoming deliveries, checking goods and temperatures, recording and labelling goods into cold store and warehouse.
Ensure products and pallets are stored safely in our cold store and warehouse.
Accurate stock control and rotating products accordingly.
General upkeep of work space, cold store and warehouse.
General admin tasks and ad-hoc duties.
The above list is not exhaustive and the post holder will undertake other duties as required, due to the size of the night shift team this will include providing cover for other staff members during annual leave.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Excellent communication skills, fluent English both written and verbal.
Previous warehouse experience.
Fork Lift truck licence
Good multi tasker with a practical approach.
Able to prioritise work, cope with deadlines and use initiative in a variety of situations.
Accurate in all areas of the job role.
Good timekeeping and attendance.
This is a full-time position but you will have a flexible approach to the hours of work.
The role is Monday to Thursday start time 17:30, end time variable.
