Job description
We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our warehouse team. The job entails receiving Goods in, Picking products for production, and Preparing orders ready for dispatch. Loading and unloading products and general warehouse duties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· To ensure all inbound orders are received accurately against delivery advice and following process for discrepancies.
· Loading and unloading containers with bags weighing up to 20kg by hand.
· To ensure all orders are put away into correct locations in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring all manual recording is correct.
· Pick orders using a hand held scanner from the storage space and bringing them for preparation for delivery, or transportation to the loading bay.
· To ensure that all stock checks are completed accurately and in line with communicated timelines.
· To report any potential impending inbound or outbound failures that may impact on the business.
· Have good manual dexterity.
· Adaptable to changing priorities in a fast paced environment.
· Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse will also be a daily routine.
· Following all health and safety rules at all times.
· Reporting any damage to stock, equipment or racking.
· Able to work on own initiative.
· Good communication and team working skills.
KEY ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
· Fork lift licences (Not essential)
· Physically fit, involves manual handling (ability to lift 25kg sacks)
· Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing or warehousing environment.
· High attention to detail and adhering to all company Health and Safety procedures for site.
· Good level of understanding and spoken English.
· Ability to take direction and following instructions.
· Numerate for processing orders and relevant paperwork.
· Able to work on own initiative.
· Good communication and team working skills.
Hours 08.00 – 17.00hrs Monday – Friday. Working rotating shifts 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights from June to November throughout the harvest season. Flexibility is key to the needs of the warehouse operations during harvest.
