We are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our Fowler Welch team in our Teynham site. Day and night shift available as below.
Shift Pattern:
- Wednesday-Saturday 08:00am-20:00pm
- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Friday - 08:00am-20:00pm
- Wednesday – Saturday, 22:00pm-10:00am.
- Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday - 22:00pm-10:00am.
- Saturday - Tuesday - 22:00pm-10:00am.
Salary:
- Week day - £11.72 per hour.
- Week end day - £14.06 per hour.
- Weeknight £13.44 per hour
- Weekend Night £16.13 per hour
- Loading of pallets onto outbound vehicles and trailers.
- Unloading of pallets from inbound vehicles and trailers.
- Any other warehouse duties, as directed by the Supervisor.
- Ensure all operational activity is carried out safely and in line with the company’s Health & Safety policy, SSOWs, and HACCP regulations.
- To carry out any operational activity as instructed which you are properly trained to undertake including but not limited to; Goods-in, Put away, Replenishment, Picking, Marshalling, Loading, De-kitting, Recycling, and damages.
- To reach and maintain the standards required to meet the Company's performance & productivity targets.
- Use the correct PPE for the activity/temperature range for the area in which you are working.
- Ensure that site practices, policies and procedures are followed and hygiene standards are maintained.
- To use all work equipment provided to you as instructed and to maintain the condition of that equipment.
- To ensure the correct documentation is completed where necessary for example; inbound and despatched loads.
- Reporting all MHE, equipment or building defects in line with company procedures and taking appropriate action to ensure own and colleague safety.
- Ensure all return streams are dealt with as per company procedures
- Experienced with the use of MHE (Mechanical Handling Equipment/Electrick barrow truck).
- You are comfortable working in a chilled 2.5’c environment (warm clothing required)
- You are comfortable with manual handling / case picking.
- You are able to work at least one weekend day.
- Experience of working within an environment where achieving deadlines and quality of work are critical.
- Good Standard of written and verbal English.
