Job description

Job title: Warehouse Operative
Contract: full-time, permanent
£22400 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am-16:30pm

Role Purpose:

To support Warehouse Supervisor in effective warehouse operation
To complete all tasks on time and to quality
To maintain accurate information on stock
Use a forklift daily
To maintain a safe working environment

Key Activities:

Ensures goods are accurately picked for delivery to site, working on projects for Superdry, O2, TKMAX
Picking of materials from warehouse in preparation for dispatch to site
Receiving goods from suppliers and preparing for storage
Storing stock in correct warehouse location
Use of Fork Lift Truck
Unloading lorries
Biannual stock check of equipment
Provide Commercial Team with information to ensure equipment availability
Identifying & correcting stock inaccuracies
Maintain up to date knowledge of products and materials
Effectively operate company systems and procedures
Maintains company Health & Safety standards
Sweeping Floors & keeping floor space tidy & clean
Keeping bins empty

Requirements:

Basic stock control or administration background
Good level of numeracy
Ability to apply common sense interpretation of information
Ability to work in a team
