POSITION OVERVIEW

· Build brand awareness of Chelsea Hotel, Toronto and all its entities by developing a social media communications plan across a range of platforms
· Develop goals/objectives covering audience profile, reach and engagement
· Create a content calendar and develop assets to engage multiple audiences and platforms
· Develop an influencer management strategy, building relevant relationships for the different offerings within the hotel
· Manage and respond to all guest comments on all social channels to maintain a positive online reputation

· Keep abreast of changes within the social media landscape to ensure the hotel is up to date with trends that align with our overall business strategy

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Work alongside the Director of Marketing and eBusiness and Director of Public Relations to implement and enforce a social media communications strategy that supports the hotel’s objectives
· Develop goals for each sub-brand and platform that identifes audience profile, reach, engagement, influencer identification and strategy implementation
· Boost positive brand awareness of hotel, food and beverage outlets and partnerships
· Evaluate, analyze and implement trends, initiatives and metrics to track success on a monthly basis and apply learnings to improve strategies
· Develop a regular system for reporting on campaign performance across social media platforms, evaluate their efficacy, and provide recommendations on how to improve our work
· Monitor and respond to guests to foster positive engagement and strengthen brand presence
· Proactive outreach to engage and build brand ambassadors/partnerships and increase platform followers
· Manage all social media inquiries and foster relationship with influencers that align with the overall strategic direction of the hotel
· Host influencers and organize events that appeal to influencer communities to drive social coverage
· Create content engaging content that supports brand initiatives
· Support distributing job postings and company announcements

· Cover and highlight on-site events/programming to create content that align brand and marketing goals



Requirement

.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE

· Superior interpersonal skills, with ability to consult and coordinate among multiple teams to produce written content
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to write digital content in a fast-paced environment
· Strong comfort level with digital and social media metrics
· Strong attention to detail
· Alignment on the core values and strategy
· Extensive experience creating and implementing grassroots digital strategy with an emphasis on creating balanced social media campaigns
· Experience successfully developing rapid response campaigns
· Proven work experience as a Social media manager
· Hands on experience in content management
· Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)

· Familiarity with web design
