Your New Role...

We have an exciting new role open at our warehouse, as part of our eCommerce order fulfillment team. In this challenging but fulfilling role, you will lead a team of Warehouse Operatives, processing orders from the official Harry Potter Shop (www.harrypottershop.co.uk), ensuring high level customer service for witches, wizards and muggles alike!

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Lead and participate in daily briefings and be aware of all activity within the department including supporting the Warehouse Management team with the preparation of rotas, schedules, and payroll information.
  • Supervise associates as they receive, check, and accept deliveries to our warehouse, keeping accurate records of incoming orders, whilst also ensuring stock is replenished in line with company guidelines, including the use of machinery to put away orders at height.
  • Lead and provide guidance to the team as online store orders are picked, whilst ensuring that relevant paperwork is maintained as orders are accurately dispatched to stores, or individual customer orders (including personalisation when required), for our ecommerce business.
  • Feeding back any issues with orders or stock levels to colleagues and our Management Team, to make sure a quality service is provided to our customers.
  • Keeping our warehouse clean, tidy, and organized, as well as ensuring the team adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all visitors and staff.
  • Checking machinery and vehicles and reporting any defects or issues as soon as possible.
  • Ensure Warehouse and eCommerce works is up to date, through performing stock takes, housekeeping duties, ensuring strict standards and minimising shrinkage.
  • Avoid loss through the efficient handling of product and packaging.
  • Delivering stock to our retail outlets (where agreed with the Warehouse Management Team, this could include making deliveries to our London sites).


Qualifications & Experience….

  • Experience in a warehouse or eCommerce environment in a supervisory capacity.
  • Customer service and delivery mindset
  • High level of IT literacy with prior experience using Warehouse database software and handheld terminals
  • Proven experience working in a warehouse environment during a peak sales periods.
  • Experience using warehouse machinery (including forklifts, narrow aisle trucks and order pickers) would be an advantage. However full training is provided.
  • Full UK Drivers licence

Working Patterns…

  • Full time roles are scheduled for 40 hours a week, working shifts. This will include working five out of seven days each week, with varying start and finish times.
  • Roles include regular weekend and evening work, particularly at the busiest times of the year.
  • Flexibility is required to suit the needs of the business.
  • Team Leaders should be prepared to open and close the building and be responsible for the site, to support the Warehouse Management team.
