Job description
Do you love dogs? Do you want to work with dogs and REALLY make a difference to their lives? Are you passionate about animal rescue? Do you want to help rehabilitate scared dogs, show them love and kindness? DO you want to have a say in what home would be best for them and help them move on to their new families to start their new lives? Can you drive and have reliable transport to get to the rescue on time? If you can answer YES to these then we need to hear from you!
Our dogs deserve the best care and our kennel team gives them exactly that. We don't just ensure that kennels are clean and hygienic for our pooches, we also make sure that their kennels are warm, cozy, happy places where the dogs learn about love. Our team works tirelessly, helping the dogs learn to trust, they show them how to walk on a lead at their own pace. They prepare them gently for life once they are adopted, help provide updates to help them find the right homes and take great pride introducing their dogs to their new adopted families.
No two dogs are the same and every day at Many Tears is different. The rescue is a vibrant, busy atmosphere and our team works together to help every dog that arrives. You will need to have common sense, be physically fit ( some lifting is involved and lots of dog walking), happy to multitask and keep a smile on your face and always be welcoming and polite to our visitors, volunteers and adopters.
If you want to embrace the challenge please email us! Send a cv along with a covering email introducing yourself and your experience with dogs to [email protected]
