What you'll do
We're recruiting for a FP&A Finance Analyst to join our FP&A team in Vodafone UK. This is a high profile business modelling role. You will influence financial and commercial direction for the Local Enterprise segment. As a FP&A Finance Analyst you will be working directly with finance decision support to facilitate efficient and effective modelling to optimise performance of the Enterprise business. You will be the central point for financial modelling of Local Enterprise fixed revenue, margin and A&R, as well as mobile revenue, margin and A&R for the Partners and Alliances subsegment, for stakeholders in Enterprise, FP&A and Fin Ops. You will be responsible for the specification and modelling the above segments of Local Enterprise. This will range standardised monthly analysis with a future-facing perspective, to utilising existing data to support a rolling forecast, to planning half year (5+7) and budget (9+15) outlooks with a robust and logical approach to a high degree of accuracy. You will also support Commercial Finance to have a clear understanding of month end results and performance trends.
Reporting and analysis of the monthly results relating to A&R, Partners and Alliances and Fixed Margin, providing insight on variances to forecast and drivers of these.- Preparation of CFO review material and reporting to support FDS.
- Recommending ideas and practical solutions to business and finance issues. Proactively seek out best practice.
- Develop efficient and accurate modelling tools to deliver “technical” and commercial overlay forecasts for in year and budget planning
- Support the wider FP&A team in the delivery of robust rolling outlook and LRPs in relation to Enterprise revenue & margin.
- As required by FP&A Senior Commercial Finance Manager & Head of FP&A, provide additional insights into Enterprise revenue & margin plans.
Who you are
- Analytical approach, ideally insight into Enterprise business financials
- Part/fully qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACMA, ACCA) with commercial experience.
- Desire to understand the commercial insights.
- High attention to detail & strong analytical skills.
- Confident communicating with Senior Stakeholders
