The S&A Academy are working with a fantastic organisation who are searching for their next IT service desk analyst apprentice. This is a great opportunity for any budding IT or tech fanatics to build a career as a service desk analyst whilst working towards achieving a level 3 IT Infrastructure Apprenticeship. The Succesful candidate will be providing 1st and 2nd line support services to users across this large multisite organisation.

What does it take to be succesful within this IT service desk analyst apprenticeship?

You will be eager to learn and immerse yourself within the service desk environment, your passion for IT and technology could have started with your education. You may have completed work experience or an internship within the service desk industry, hobbyists who enjoy building and fixing computers are also of interest to us to chat with. Having the ability to problem solve, listen to what issues people may have and explain in non jargon language will be essential within this apprenticeship. You will receive guidance and mentoring during the IT service desk analyst apprenticeship to grow your skills to develop your career prospects within this organisation.

What day to day duties will I be carrying out in the IT Service desk analyst apprenticeship?

  • Operate as the first point of contact for company users to investigate and resolve issues with use of the AV solutions.
  • Actively own, manage, monitor, troubleshoot and resolve AV queries and incidents reported to the service desk and prioritise, resolve or correctly refer to the relevant IT support teams
  • Be available to support (in person) large events meetings when required with advanced notice.
  • Provide end user training for the AV solutions and be an advocate for their continued use.
  • Undertake daily system checks on the AV devices fitness for purpose, resolve issues and report critical incidents or concerns to the Service Provider and Service Delivery Manager
  • Organise own work and constantly analyse incidents and monitor service and systems using the
  • Provide a high level of customer service via direct phone and email support, including remote support and ensure service level agreements are consistently met
