We are recruiting a Warehouse Team Leader
We are recruiting a Warehouse Team Leader within the Despatch Department at Muller Manchester to enable the team to deliver targets and continuously improve performance by coaching and developing our people.
Contract: Full Time / Perm
Shift Pattern: – 4 on 4 off Days and Nights (7am – 7pm / 7pm – 7am)
Location: Manchester
The ideal candidate will have experience within Despatch / Logistics or have a transport background. Training will be provided for this position.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Creating and delivering development plans.
- Coaching front line team members, enabling them to solve problems.
- Ensures own activities are aligned to overall business objectives.
- People management including delivery of performance review, development and coaching of team, dealing with employee relations issues.
- Collaboratively works with other teams to improve our business.
- Deep knowledge of Operational Excellence , coaching team on use of the principles and tools.
Muller Responsibilities:
- Creating and delivering development plans.
- Creating succession pathways both up through and across organisation .
- High level problem solving capability and facilitation skills.
- “go, look, see” issues by visiting the workstation when called upon .
- Coaching front line team members, enabling them to solve problems.
- Uses PDCA techniques to follow problems through to “100 year fix” in real time.
- Encourages others to seeks out improvement opportunities within the workplace and converts to own operational excellence projects .
- Owns and delivers operational excellence initiatives and is recognised for these.
- Looks and encourages others to find “waste” opportunities in everything that we do.
