Warehouse Supervisor (Nights) Stoke-on-Trent, England
Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our Nights Team at the Blythe Bridge Depot.
· Up to £32,000 per annum based on experience
· 40 hours per week, night shift with afternoon cover when required
· Monday to Friday, no weekends
The Role
In the role of Warehouse Supervisor you will oversee and coordinate the running of the night shift in support of the Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities include:
· Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
· Determine staffing levels and assign workload for that shift
· Communicate job expectations and coach team members
· Liaise with other departments to answer questions and solve problems
· Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
Essential Experience & Qualifications
· Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
· At least 5 years experience of working in a supervisory or managerial roles in a warehouse
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
· Strong organisational and time management skills
· Hold a current FLT certificate of competence
· Be physically active due to the nature of the role manual handling will be required
