Job description
Scottish Forestry is looking for an Operations Manager to lead our South East Scotland Area Team.
This is an excellent opportunity to lead a team to deliver ambitious woodland creation targets in South East Scotland, while at the same time ensuring that forestry regulations , including felling permission and statutory plant health notice are correctly managed.
You will lead a team of 4 woodland officers to deliver the highest standards of sustainable forest management, while inspiring and motivating the team.
You’ll also serve as part of the Conservancy leadership team, providing reassuring and supportive guidance and management across the whole of the Conservancy.
