We are looking for a Warehouse manager who can coach, develop, manage and motivate a large team. Individual will have a full accountability of Warehouse Operations and customer journey within the cash and carry. You will be reporting to Area Manager and working very closely with various head office functions.
Minimum 2 years of management experience is essential however it does not have to be from within the same industry. We believe in people’s transferable skills which can add massive value to the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Coach, develop and motivate people to maintain high standards of behaviours.
- Conduct effective 1-2-1 reviews.
- Manage recruitment process for the branch.
- Effectively manage all HR processes within the branch with support of Area Manager
- Ensure Health & Safety regulations are adhered to at all times
- Ensuring all activities are undertaken in accordance with current legislation, company policies and procedures, standing instructions and contract practices.
- Handling and completing all documentation and information as required.
- Supporting and actioning daily tasks in line with productivity measures.
- Operating company equipment in a safe and proper fashion and in accordance with company policies, procedures and legislation.
- Provide management reports as required
- To ensure good working relationships are maintained at all times
- Responsibility to challenge and ascertain reasons for presence of unauthorised persons on site where appropriate.
- Effective planning of manpower and holiday management.
- Achieve agreed set of KPI's.
- Effective management of stock processes.
- Efficient and cost effective management of payroll.
- Manage H&S of the premises.
- Manage daily/ weekly/monthly audit processes within the branch.
- Support business with any new project initiatives.
- Execute the best customer journey within the branch.
- Drive Omni-channel customer experience within the branch.
- Ensure any customer complaints been handled appropriately.
- Effectively build direct relationships with our B2B customers.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
