Job description
An exciting opportunity has become available working for a well-established business in Clitheroe within the retail / wholesale lighting industry. We require an professional, efficient, experienced and self-motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join our dedicated team on a full time basis. Working in the warehouse, you will be required to deal with overseeing efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a wide range of lighting products.
Job Role Includes:
* Assist in the management of a warehouse team
* Maintaining inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and despatching products. Notifying of any discrepancies.
* Picking and packing orders
* Keeping storage area safe and clean, general warehouse duties and organisation of stock for efficiency.
* Processing of orders on internal warehouse system
* Keeping stock control systems up to date, carrying out stock checks and making sure inventories are accurate.
* Liaising with transport & packaging companies and resolving any problems.
The ideal candidate will have good communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels, be computer literate, well presented, and have a high attention to detail. Skills required are planning, coordinating, and organisation and possess a good standard of numeracy and literacy.
You must have previous experience in a warehouse supervisory / management role.
Fork lift truck license is essential.
Salary £25,000.00 - £27,000.00 negotiable depending on experience
Hours of work are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
28 days holiday p.a. incl. bank holidays
