Since the first branch of General Traffic opened in 1983, our family business has grown to be one of the largest distributors of Vehicle Parts and Tyres in the North and Midlands.

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our warehouse team at our distribution hub in Warrington.

Duties

• To manage the daily tasks of the Hub
• Ensure both team leaders manage their individual areas while working together to ensure all daily tasks are completed
• Goods in (team leader)
• Ensure that goods are booked in correct daily
• Stock orders are picked ready for IBT vans
• Paper work is checked for quantities and filed in date order daily
• Goods in area is left tidy and ready for the next day
• Putbacks looked at daily
• Goods out (team leader)
• Ensure special orders are picked within 10 minutes
• All specials are on the correct shelves with the right paper work
• Ensure all stock is distributed from IBT vans
• Specials table to be kept clear of clutter
• Drivers to leave on time, report to Warehouse manager any delays
• Goods out area is left tidy and ready for the next day
• Stock from other branches is booked in daily
• Any missing interbranch stock is chased from the sending branch
• Manage the replenishment of stock from the bulk area
• To ensure the rolling stock take is completed
• Ensure vehicles are serviced and maintained as per transport managers direction
• All stock cleanses are picked and packed
• Deal with emails from head office on a daily basis

45.5 hours a week.

Monday – Friday between the hours of 4:00am - 6:00pm and alternate Saturday mornings

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £26,000.00 per year
