Our Manton Wood site has a gym, a restaurant with hot food, and a staff shop available to all our colleagues.
We are located in 3-4, Manton Wood Enterprise Park, Worksop, England.
What you will be doing -
We have a range of skilled roles here in Manton, Worksop from Machine Operative, Prep Operative, to Line Coordinators. We are looking for colleagues with prior experience in the food industry/warehouse environment.
We have various shift available from day and night.
Machine Operative -
- Prior experience as a machine operator with knowledge of heavy-duty and high-speed machinery is required.
- Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and handbooks and ability to use measurement tools.
- Strong attention to detail and proactive with workload
Prep Operative –
- Working in the busy preparation area you will be ensuring the ingredients are prepared to the highest quality and standards. Working as part of the high-risk team preparing raw materials and ingredients to be used to make our products.
- Work with raw materials direct from the supplier and process them into materials suitable to be used on sandwiches, flat breads and wraps. We have state of the art machinery which enables us to mix, slice, grate and dice any product into any shape, size or form quickly and efficiently.
- Weighing and measuring raw materials and ensuring the ingredient that you’re preparing matches the specification from the customer / supermarket on a 'right first time’ basis.
Line Coordinators –
- A basic understanding and appreciation of food health & safety and environmental practices and processes.
- Experience having worked to deliver a production plan, meet key performance indicators, and implement improvements with the changing demands and pace of a manufacturing process.
- A confident and clear communicator with the ability to engage, influence and motivate others, and enjoy working with people and teams.
