About the opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity as a Warehouse Shift Manager supporting our Harlow Distribution Centre Team. As a Warehouse Shift Manager, you will Provide leadership, motivation, training and support the development of the team, deliver against customer requirements and operational performance.
This role will be based at our Harlow Distribution Centre in Essex and include managing a team.
Week 1 - Friday, Saturday, Sunday 07:00 – 19:00
Week 2 - Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 07:00 – 19:00
Works on a two week rotation.

What you'll be doing...
As Warehouse Night Shift Manager your duties will consist of:
- Effectively lead and manage the shift management team
- Delivery of Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Coordinate, monitor and manage day to day activity ensuring that shifts and resource are correctly assigned to project and task
- Support shifts as required during times of on shift management absence
- Flexible to support network and sites outside core business hours
- Support site leadership team in the delivery of longer-term improvement projects
- Support and facilitate training and upskilling of management
- Problem solve in timely fashion to stop issues escalating
What you'll need...
- Strong distribution experience; stock control and clothing experience preferred
- Shift management or Warehouse management experience
- Financial understanding and acumen
- Able to problem solve and make decisions
- Strong knowledge of Health and Safety Law and requirements
- Dispatcher experience an advantage
- IT literate – MS Office and Dispatcher WMS
