Job description
Melrose Interiors are a specialist manufacturer, importer and distributor of rugs and associated flooring products and more recently production of Industry leading carpet sample books. As the largest independent supplier to the UK online rug industry, we have additional operations in third-party logistics(3PL), upcycling and recycling.
We are looking for a Production Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all production processes are completed in a timely and efficient manner. This position requires the ability to read and interpret technical documents, follow instructions, and work with a variety of tools and machines. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and an attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with established safety procedures. (Training Provided)
- Wrapping, Packing and Labelling products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Read and understand technical documents.
- Follow production schedules and meet deadlines.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.00-£10.60 per hour
