The Target Healthcare Group is a niche pharmaceutical developer, manufacturer and supplier to the retail pharmacy, hospital, pharmaceutical wholesaler, and homecare markets.

Throughout the UK the Group employs close to 300 including pharmacists, skilled technicians, HR, IT, procurement, warehouse, and customer services staff.

Our Wholesale & Warehouse department manages all aspects of storage and stock management, as well as incoming and outgoing deliveries. We are looking to add a Warehouse Operator to this busy and fast paced team on a ongoing temporary basis.

To support with our busy periods the successful individual, will initally be required to work 40 hours, Monday - Friday between our core hours of 1000 - 2200 for the 1st week of every month. There maybe the opportunity to pick up additional hours within the calendar month to assist with staff holidays and increase in workload.

As a Warehouse Operator your responsibilities will include, though will not be limited to:

  • Ensuring all activities comply with GDP.
  • Unloading the forklift, checking parcel condition, and signing drivers’ manifests.
  • Unpacking goods, checking delivery notes, and making sure they re stored on the correct shelves.
  • Booking in the various types of products that come into the warehouse and making sure the relevant member of staff is aware of their arrival.
  • Processing customer returns.
  • Getting orders from various departments ready for collection.
  • Rotating dated stock ensuring those with the shortest expiry dates are used first.
  • Keeping the storage area tidy and organised.
  • Completing administrative duties including security and temperature control of stock.

Contract

  • Zero hour contract on a temporary ongoing basis
