- Loading and unloading full and empty casks from transport vehicles
- Filling casks with New Make Spirit
- Filling casks with Mature Spirit as part of a racking operation
- Assisting with tanker receipt, loading and despatch
- Assisting with spirit accounts and reduction
- Cask sampling and cask regauging
- Disgorging mature casks, cask destowing and stowing
- Using a barcode gun system to track cask movements, casks details and operational events
- Using a variety of computer systems to ensure traceability of maturing stock and samples
- Monitor cask conditions during the maturation process and take action to minimise losses
- Operating equipment such as FLT, tractor/trailer, stacker
- Identify and report any warehouse, equipment maintenance requirements
- Ensure safety and quality of work at all times by following documented procedures
