We are looking for a Goods Out Manager to lead and develop our goods out and picking operation, based in Avonmouth.
The ideal candidate will have experience in running a picking/goods out operation, upskilling teams, developing processes and planning for the future.
The Real Wrap Co is an industry-leading sandwich and ‘food to go’ maker with an excellent reputation. We produce millions of sandwiches a year from two manufacturing sites (Bristol and Aylesbury).
Our focus is delivering high-quality food-to-go that pushes flavour and sustainability boundaries. Over 20% of our menu is plant-based and we have made the world’s only Carbon Negative Food-to-Go range. We are now 10 years old and have grown rapidly, featuring on the ‘Sunday Times FastTrack 100’ three years in a row (a very rare feat). We pride ourselves on great customer service and delivering on time in full is a key part.
JOB PURPOSE
Your role is to lead and motivate your team to produce the highest quality customer service whilst maintaining an excellent level of efficiency and maintaining high health & safety standards. This will involve KPIs, performance monitoring and training of new and current staff.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for progressing the department, always looking at ways to be more efficient and for innovative ways to improve.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reporting to the GM, and also working closely with the logistics team to progress the business forward at pace
- Oversee all department planning, ensuring sufficient flexibility is in place to meet the varying and changing needs of customers
- Managing incoming frozen finished product both on site and off site and servicing customer orders from this stock
- Coordinate with all staff to ensure we are complying to BRC regulations, and the department is operating at an outstanding level.

- To always work in a safe and effective manner ensuring correct training and implementation of all Health and Safety procedures
- Reporting back with with KPI updates and feedback results and performance to your team
- To undertake any other duties related to the responsibilities of the post and which may be delegated by the company
Essential Experience and Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of scan picking and experience in a similar role is required
- In-depth knowledge of the FMCG industry.
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Be an innovative thinker.
- Hold a valid UK driving licence.

Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
