Warehouse Operative Duties
- Picking/Packing of goods
- Sorting and moving materials on to racks and shelves
- Assisting with unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock.
- Preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickups
- Scanning packages and ensure they are managed effectively
- Unloading trailers or placing parcels from chutes in the correct location
Warehouse Operative Skills
- Delivery of high standards of customer service and care of parcels
- High level of accuracy and efficiency
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Compliance with health and safety standards
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and standards
- Previous experience of working in a Warehouse
- Able to meet physical demands due to heavy lifting and long working hours
