Warehouse Operative - you will need to be working towards tight deadlines.

Location: York, YO30

Salary: £9.50
£12.29 night shift rate

after 6am it will go down to standard hours and not nightshift

Shift Pattern: 00:00-9am 5 days a week

Warehouse Operative Duties

• Picking/Packing of goods
• Sorting and moving materials on to racks and shelves
• Assisting with unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock.
• Preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickups
• Scanning packages and ensure they are managed effectively
• Unloading trailers or placing parcels from chutes in the correct location

Warehouse Operative Skills

• Delivery of high standards of customer service and care of parcels
• High level of accuracy and efficiency
• Effective communication and teamwork
• Compliance with health and safety standards
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and standards
• Previous experience of working in a Warehouse
• Able to meet physical demands due to heavy lifting and long working hours
