Here at GXO, we’re looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our team at Toolstation based at Prologis Park Pineham, Upton Valley Way North, Northampton NN4 9FJ. Supporting us in the ‘go-live’ of a brand-new operation, you’ll be working on an ‘any 5 from 7’ shift patten, covering 06:00 – 14:00 & 14:00 – 22:00.

As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll benefit from:
An hourly rate of £11.61- An additional £1 per hour to £12.61 for holding an MHE licence

What you’ll do on a typical day:
Load and unload vehicles with products for delivery accurately and safely in line with company health & safety policies- Check and confirm loads for accuracy, and report any discrepancies
- Off-load any products, check they are correct and undamaged and load them into the appropriate areas for storage
- Utilise the warehouse management system on a daily basis in line with pick and pack requirements
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Wear all PPE supplied by the company as suitable for the task, in the correct manner and as it was designed to be worn- Provide flexibility in approach
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential as all training will be provided
