Warehouse Operative (Grade 2)

We are currently seeking a Senior Warehouse Operative to join us on a permanent, full-time basis.

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off rotating shifts - 6am to 4pm and 1pm to 11pm.

The Role

As a Senior Warehouse Operative, you will assist with the day-to-day functioning of our warehouse, ensuring that all goods are handled safely and efficiently, with minimal damage.

Monitoring safe lifting, you will ensure that health and safety procedures are adhered to and that manual handling equipment is used correctly, where necessary.

You will also ensure that all company policies are adhered to and, when required, you will communicate any issues, concerns or variances to your line manager.

About You

To be considered as a Senior Warehouse Operative, you will need:

• Experience of leading a team
• Experience of working as part of a team
• Good knowledge of OPUS and AS/400 computer systems
• Understanding of warehouse operations
• The ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
• Excellent communication skills

Please note this position will require the flexibility to work shift patterns including weekends and bank holidays.
