Job Description: Labourer
Location: Faringdon, SN7
Pay: £11.50 per hour
Working Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Duration: 1 week
About the Role:
- Stand-alone job working on a singular site, a 10-bedroom hostel/HMO
- Recently won a tender for replacing the kitchen and refurbishing shared spaces
- Involved in internal and external redecorations
Responsibilities:
- Assist tradespeople in various tasks, such as carrying materials, cleaning, and preparing work areas
- Perform general labour duties, including lifting and moving heavy objects
- Help with the demolition and removal of old materials
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work site
- Follow instructions and adhere to safety regulations
Requirements:
- Prior experience working as a laborer in a construction or renovation setting
- Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects
- Knowledge of basic construction tools and equipment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Availability to work for the full duration of the project (1 week)
