Job description
The Warehouse Operator will be a key member of the warehouse team who will perform all of the key logistics processes within the warehouse from Receiving, Put-away, Picking and Packing. The expectation is of a high attention to detail with a strong customer focus thereby ensuring a high level of stock integrity and delivering a very positive customer experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Receiving, Picking and Packing, shipping, and general warehouse duties
- Ensuring Picks accuracy of 100% before departure of the shipments from the warehouse
- Trailer unloading
- Chair assembly
- Order picking
- Upkeep of warehouse to ensure it is kept in a tidy and safe manner at all times.
- Provide holiday cover for other warehouse functions when and if required.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role within a busy warehouse environment
- Strong customer focus
- Good communication skills
- Very Good English
- Forklift and Reach Truck experience and in date licences desirable but not essential as training will be given if required.
- warehouse: 1 year (Preferred)
- Forklift experience ( preferred but not essential)
- Full Driver’s licence ( preferred but not essential)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
