Family owned and family run, our focus has always been delivering a wide range of products across frozen, ambient, chilled and non-foods at consistently low prices to catering premises right across southern England and South Wales.
Due to a sustained period of growth, we are currently looking for a full time Warehouse Operative operating in our coldstore at our Swindon depot, to provide cover across our Cold Store Department and Goods-In area.
Full PPE will be provided.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Picking customer orders
- Rotating stock in line with expiry dates
- Restocking new deliveries
- General housekeeping
- Ensuring all Health and Safety and good hygiene practices are strictly adhered to by all staff.
THE PERSON
- Must have previous warehouse experience.
- Possess good numeracy skills.
- A Forklift Licence is advantageous, but not essential.
- An interest in, knowledge of and/or experience within the Food/Retail sector desirable, but not essential.
This is a permanent role, working the earley shift, Monday to Friday 4am till 1pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch break.
You MUST be flexible regarding working times/hours.
You will receive a generous holiday allowance (28 days) and automatically enrolled on to pension scheme.
