Warehouse Operative
Location: Glasgow G69
Pay Rate: £10.34 per hour
Working hours: 7am-7pm / 4 days on, 4 days off / 1-hour break each shift / weekday & weekend work available.
The Company
Our Client is the leading sofa retail specialist in the UK. Our Client designs, manufactures, sells, delivers, and installs general furniture products nationally. They are one of the largest UK’s furniture manufacturer and retailer.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative you will work in the warehouse unloading frames and materials that have been delivered to the factory. You will be responsible for loading delivery vans with furniture to be transported to stores for display or to Distribution centres for delivery to customer’s home.
All applicants are to be dressed appropriately before arriving to site with:
- Black trousers – no jeans/leggings.
- No Shorts
- Smart polo shirt/jumper – dark colour, no big logos, brands, etc.
- Appropriate safety shoes/boots – steel toe cap or composite
- High-visual jacket or vest
The Candidate
- Have a high work ethic
- Have flexibility with their working hours
- Previous manual handling experience
- Be able to partake in other duties that may not be specifically apart of the role.
