About You
The Project Manager reports to the Senior Project Manager and is part of a wider PMO team that sits within Operations. In this role, you are responsible for managing your assigned projects and presales opportunities. You will demonstrate ownership of project deliverables and commitment to quality, on time, on-budget delivery and will deliver regular communication and reporting to keep project stakeholders (internal and external) up to date on all aspects of your projects.
You will have the ability to understand and communicate complex technical projects, commercial relationships and relevant contract clauses to your project teams and empower them to deliver exceptional customer service to our clients.
Essential Skills:
- Experience in leading and mentoring people in a technical environment.
- Comprehensive project management experience in a customer facing, technology role.
- Ability to track and analyse project data and distil this into a format that the business can interpret and use for better decision making
- Ability to provide innovative ideas and solutions and drive continuous improvement.
- Relevant project management qualification such as APM PMQ, or a ScrumMaster qualification, or equivalent experience.
- Effective facilitation and negotiation skills including reaching consensus and managing conflict.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including the ability and confidence to present to complex ideas clearly to technical and business clients.
- Outstanding organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to switch tasks easily.
- A strong, resilient and confident character.
- A positive, proactive, and can-do attitude.
Desirable skills:
- Experience within a software development environment with an understanding of the software development life cycle and change control process.
- Experience of working as part of a Scrum team or similar Agile discipline.
