What you'll do
This role will play a key part in the definition and development of the digital eCommerce journeys for our Consumer customers in Vodafone UK, with a specific focus on the Checkout capability.
You will be an integral part of the Digital operating model for Consumer UK and support and drive the performance of the eCommerce Checkout platform. The role will be accountable for managing the team’s backlog in order to drive sales growth, reduce cost to serve and drive adoption of the experience alongside improving overall tNPS. This role will work closely with key stakeholders and suppliers to ensure that product development needs are met and any new propositions are supported in line with planned go-to-market activity.
You will support the digital development process and manage the lifecycle of digital services working closely with key senior stakeholders including Journey Owners in order to understand, manage and ensure the Checkout is configured to meet business needs.
You will be a source of subject matter technical expertise in relation to the eCommerce Checkout platform and you will advise and guide a variety of internal stakeholders and digital squads during various stages of feature development : from ideation to user research, from A/B test to design, development, test and release. The role will work primarily work in scrum teams defining and executing the digital Consumer ecommerce product roadmap, writing user stories, inputting into the definition of the product vision and underlying KPIs.
Who you are
Experience with eCommerce and preferably the checkout step of the journey.- Experience of working as a Digital Product Owner.
- Previous experience of working in an agile software development environment – deep understanding of agile concepts such as epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Experience of defining and delivering Minimum Viable Products, running A/B tests and making data oriented decisions.
- Expert understanding of self-service front ends and the interfaces with backend information systems.
- Analytical skills to measure impact, identify trends and create strong hypothesis to test.
- Experience in product management, digital channel management or digital applications.
- Previous experience in software development and platform management.
- Experience of driving strategy and delivery in a digital environment.
- Strong Commercial knowledge.
