Job description
This expanding manufacturing business in the Telford area are looking for an experience forklift driver / warehouse operative to join their team. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, driving forklifts and picking and packing orders. They have counterbalance and flexi/bendi trucks, they work on a 3-shift rotation pattern and offer good benefits.
The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for:
- Driving Forklift Counterbalance and/or Bendi/Flexi truck
- Order picking and packing
- Reading from picking sheets
- Loading and unloading
- Allocating stock to stores
- Operating computer system
- Working as part of a team to deliver materials to production
- Moving finished goods from production to despatch
- Preparing orders for shipment
- Working to health and safety regulations
- Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse environment
Skills and Experience required:
- Must have worked in a warehouse / stock control environment previously
- Must hold a Forklift Counterbalance and/or Bendi/Flexi truck license
- Computer literate
- Good written and verbal
- Team player
- This role would suit a candidate who has previously worked as a Stock Controller / Stores operative / Forklift Driver
