Job description
We are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our team in a 4 on 4 off shift pattern as a Warehouse Operative. You will be working at the heart of our operation, supporting the transportation and screening of goods. Your role will involve liaising with your co-workers, customers, our operational and management teams and our drivers to ensure we deliver an impeccable service. Previous experience and knowledge within the airfreight industry, including warehouse experience is preferable but not mandatory. We will provide training where necessary.
Mixed Freight Services Ltd is a Civil Aviation Authority regulated and licensed logistics company. We engage ourselves in the transportation, handling and screening of Import, Export and General Cargo within the United Kingdom. The successful applicant will be working within our 24 hour, 7 day a week operation and will also support our subsidiary Commercial Vehicle Rental company servicing London Heathrow.

Days and Hours of Work:
- 4 on 4 off shift
- 07:00am to 19:00pm (Days)
Salary: Dependent upon shift allocated & experience.
Pension: Yes, NEST employer 3% employee 5%
Duties will include:
- Safe use of a forklift.
- Ensuring safe delivery of goods.
- Loading/unloading vehicles.
- General paperwork tasks.
- Manual Handling.
- Developing productive relationships between departments, colleagues and customer relations.
- Health, Safety and security at work.

- A counter balance Forklift licence/experience.
