Here at GXO, we’re looking for a Warehouse Operative to join us at our site in Merlin Park, Birmingham. This role is working Monday to Friday, covering core hours of 09:00 – 17:00, however, a level of flexibility may be required from time to time – this is logistics after all!

What you’ll do on a typical day:
Safe operation of machinery and equipment as per training according to Standard Operating Procedures- Minimise damage to product and ensure damaged product is not sent to the customer
- Report any damages to your Line Leader
- Ensure that all health and safety processes are followed at all times
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Ability to work on own initiative, while working under pressure in a continually changing and demanding environment- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ideally, you’ll hold a forklift truck licence
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
