Warehouse Operative
Due to business growth working with a global brand in fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) we are growing our team at the Port of Tilbury.
We are hiring experienced permanent Warehouse Operatives to support the Supervisor and Management team on a day to day basis.
You will need to be available immediately.
This role is a 4 on, 4 off days and 4 on and 4 off nights, including weekends. You must hold a full UK driving licence and have at least one year's fork lift truck experience.
About the role
As a highly organised Warehouse Operative in a very busy, dynamic Terminal, you will be unloading, storing, picking and loading palletised soft drinks 24/7 for retail warehouse distribution centres.
You will have excellent communication skills with stakeholders and customers, working accurately to tight deadlines and effectively maintaining exceptional health & safety standards.
Previous experience in a retail warehouse distribution centre is advantageous, as is working in VNA area (very narrow aisle)
