Warehouse Operative Derby, England
Job description
We are excited to recruit a permanent, full time warehouse operative based in the Derby area. This role is due to an expanding team.
This role comes with free onsite parking and other benefits.
Please note: this role requires regular manual handling and heavy lifting.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing shipments
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Perform manual handling and heavy lifting when required to move and organise inventory
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments -Unbox supplier packages, checking the contents then processing the delivery in the computer system
Working hours:
Your working hours would be 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
Essential Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations
⁃ Experience in picking, packing and shipping & receiving processes
- Proficient in using computer systems
⁃ Good attention to detail
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £21,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
