Crossling are the North’s leading independent Plumbing and Pipeline Merchants. We have the following exciting opportunity for a person to join our successful organisation within our Sheffield Branch. We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and motivated person to join our team. Previous merchant experience would be advantageous although not essential.
Job Description
The main duties include:
· Picking and Packaging of orders for delivery or Collection
· Gaining warehouse experience experience to develop product knowledge
· Booking in stock including use of a fork lift truck and other warehouse duties
· Dealing with customer orders and queries
· Building relationships with customers
· Provide an efficient and professional service for customers
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will:
- Be flexible and well organised
- Be confident and outgoing
- Have a good standard of written English and strong verbal communication skills
- Have the ability to work confidently using your own initiative and be able to prioritise and organise work loads with support and instruction
- Have a smart, and professional appearance
- Be able to work well in a team and get along with colleagues
Management and Supervision
You will report to the Branch Manager who will be able to train you effectively in the areas required.
Working Week
Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8.00am to 5.00pm with one hour lunch break and a *Competitive Salary*
