We now have an exciting opportunity for Houskeeping Manager to join our Housekeeping Department.
As a Houskeeping Manager you will be required to master the art of versatility and inject some energy whilst completing a variety of duties. The main duties expected within the role are:
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Ability to work under pressure
- Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations
- Deal with or communicate guest requests i.e. second efforts to ensure 100% Guest Satisfaction.
- To actively promote a positive attitude throughout the hotel.
- To always acknowledge the customer by name if known.
- To portray a good use of body language and eye contact. Always acknowledge every guest with a Good Morning, Afternoon or Evening.
- To answer the telephone within 3 rings.
- Inspect all assigned bedrooms, suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, guest rooms/suites, equipment, linens, and public areas are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction. Advise employees of deficiencies and instruct on corrective action. Provide adequate retraining as needed.
- Routinely perform all housekeeping duties necessary including making beds, and vacuuming and cleaning guest bedroom/suites, public areas to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Respond to guest complaints, special requests and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
- Carry out special needs and requests of the guests, VIP’s and repeat visitors.
- To provide late made coverage for the hotel guests
