YOUR ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for a meticulous Warehouse Apprentice to join our operational team in Wellesbourne where you will be responsible for the movement and storage of goods to, from and within the warehouse, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and on time.
The shift times for this role is 06:00- 15:30 on a Monday to Friday basis.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
As the Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for:
Carry out administrative duties related to warehouse operations such as loading, unloading, produce dispatch and carrier paperwork- Ensure activities are accurately logged onto the WMS system
- Liaise with Team Leaders, Customers and External Colleagues.
- Maintain stock accuracy throughout the warehouse
- Produce KPI data for Team Leaders when required
- Support the operation with van driving to cover absences.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To be successful in your application you will have previous experience of working in a warehousing environment within a similar role. You will be a team player, who can also work alone where required, excellent communication skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines and targets.
This role will require someone who is physically fit and able to perform manual tasks such as unloading and loading vehicles, pick and pack and moving goods across the warehouse. You will also need to be flexible on working location dependant on organisational demand.
You will have a willingness to learn and be open to additional training to support site practices and objectives.
