Job Title: Chemical Technician
Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory tests and experiments using standard chemical techniques and equipment.
- Analyze chemical samples to determine composition, properties, and potential contaminants.
- Assist in developing and optimizing chemical processes for improved efficiency and product quality.
- Prepare detailed reports on experimental findings, including observations, results, and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory activities, including test data, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on research and development projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chemical Technician or in a related field.
- Proficiency in chemical laboratory techniques and equipment.
- Ability to conduct chemical analyses and interpret test results.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project priorities and deadlines.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office Suite proficiency.
Note: Before starting employment, candidates must provide their own chemical jacket costing £25 for safety purposes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations related to chemical handling.
