Job description
Carbon60 is currently assisting with the recruitment of a skilled goods in operative to work on a long-term project for a well-established engineering company. The goods in operative will be a key part of the goods in team working within the new facility based in Oldbury.
It is initially a 12-week temporary position that would be made permanent after a successful 12 weeks, and the role of warehouse operative has become available due to the expansion of the company. It would be ideal if the candidate had previous experience working in a warehouse.
This role is on the day shift, please see below the hours, and pay rate TBC. Morning Shift: 6am - 2pm Day shift: 10am - 6pm Training will be on the morning shift (you will still receive the day shift rate) You may occasionally be asked to cover an Afternoon shift: 12pm - 8 pm Role Responsibilities will include:
- Working within the goods inward team
- Using warehouse management system to books goods in
- Use of handheld HHT scanners
- Manual handling required.
Skills and Experience required:
- Warehouse experience (with manual handling)
- Computer literate, having used previous warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- HHT guns and software experience (use of Scanners)
