Sustainability Consultant – BREEAM Assessor

Would you like to join a leading building services and sustainability consultancy as part of a growing team delivering a diverse range of sustainability-led projects for clients across the built environment?

The business is now seeing a knowledgeable and skilled Sustainability Consultant and BREEAM Assessor with experience in delivering assessments. Sustainability is an integral part of their design process from the moment of project inception, so this role will support the design team to deliver sustainable solutions which are fully integrated into designs and benefit schemes ratings.

Responsibilities

Delivery of BREEAM assessments, delivering high quality, clearly written outputs.
Work with multidisciplinary design teams on project of varying scales and programs (fit-outs, new builds, master planning etc.)
Provide technical sustainability support to internal and external clients.
Provide management, motivation, inspiration, and sustainability leadership for the design teams engaged on projects.
Prepare sustainability strategies to support building design teams and sustainability statements to support planning applications.
Develop processes to integrate BREEAM assessment scope and sustainable design strategies in bids.

Requirements

Registered BREEAM Assessor.
Experience delivering assessments with BREEAM new build and refurbishment/ fit-out on a variety of multi-discipline design projects.
Have a good understanding of and interest in sustainable development issues as they relate to the built environment.
Capacity to work autonomously when producing deliverables, eye for detail and project management skills.
Ability to collate information and have a clear and structured approach to report writing.
Ability to influence senior management and peers within the industry and positively challenge decisions and processes.

Reward

Salary of up to £50,000
Annual bonus and salary review
25 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising to 28 days.
