Shift Pattern: Sunday - Thursday 21:00 - 06:30

Discover the best of both worlds. As the UK industry leader, we offer job security and career development – with the family feel, rewards and recognition of our friendly warehouse team. We take pride in looking after our people. So, as well as plenty of perks, a generous salary, realistic bonuses and other financial rewards, you’ll enjoy the training and support to go far.

We supply great food to hospitals, schools and some of the best-known restaurants and pubs. As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll pick, pack and check the quality of these refrigerated food items, ready for our drivers to deliver. It starts with a full induction. But with our backing and optional accredited training that includes forklift, first aid and HGV driving, there’s no limit to your potential. In fact, almost 90% of our managers started life here as a Warehouse Operative. So, once you’re in, there are plenty of opportunities to move shifts, move roles – and move up.

To join us as a Warehouse Operative, experience isn’t needed. The role involves shunting our 18T vehicles around the yard and onto the loading bays. You must, however, be a very competent driver holding a full licence and with no points. More importantly, you’ll have an eye for detail and the ability to understand and read English. Safety conscious and excellent spatial awareness goes without saying! You will be calm under pressure and self-motivated to work in conjunction with your team to ensure completion of vehicle loading. You’ll also need to be comfortable in a cool environment (we’ll provide a free thermal uniform to keep you warm) be physically fit, able to lift weights of up to 25kg and have your own car to get here. In return, you’ll enjoy job stability and benefits such as:

  • Pension scheme
  • Generous annual leave with option to buy more
  • Heavily discounted quality food, hotels and restaurants
  • Reward, recognition and referral schemes
  • Free food days, family days and summer BBQs
  • Charitable events to get involved with
  • On-site dining and break areas
  • And last but not least, a health and wellbeing programme.

People will always need to eat. So, we’ll always need to deliver food.

Join our valuable warehouse team and see how far you could go with us.
