Workshop Administrator
Our busy workshop department is responsible for the maintenance and repair of a large range of agricultural, plant and horticultural equipment. The service department's main objective is to keep the equipment of our ever growing customer base working to the best of its ability.
We are looking to appoint a workshop administrator to carry out administration tasks and to help streamline the service department, managing and allocating jobs to the service team and liaising with customers and the parts team.
Previous experience in a similar setting essential, as are strong IT skills, teamwork and effective communication skills.
What we want from you:
- Strong administration & IT Skills
- The ability to organise people and paperwork
- Deal effectively with customer enquiries and updates on work progress/approach customers for scheduled servicing or repairs
- Completing warranty registrations and warranty claims
- Completing invoicing and job cards
- Liaising with parts department and checking goods received against orders
- Ensuring all paperwork for orders are completed accurately on our in-house workshop control system to ensure easy access for all departments
- Working closely with the management team to plan and allocate incoming jobs
What you will need:
- Although workshop experience is desired, we would welcome the right individual to the role with a strong desire to learn to ropes
- Great technology skills; with Excel, Word, Outlook etc
- Previous experience with Ibcos desirable, but not compulsory
- A great attitude and an excellent work ethic is a must!
