THE POSITION
We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our Supply Chain Management team in Pirbright.
As a Warehouse Operative you will supply all the critical raw materials and consumables around site looking after the goods in process and adhering to site HSE at all times. You will maintain good housekeeping in the warehouse at all times.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure all deliveries are checked in and when possible, put away in a 24 hour period.
- Ensure all department orders are delivered in full on the requested delivery date according to department delivery schedule.
- Ensure the Warehouse is clean and tidy at all times and stock is put away in a safe manner always adhering to the first expired first out practise.
- Along with the rest of the Warehouse team make sure we meet all the HSE requirements
- Raise purchase orders to maintain the stock levels required in the warehouse.
- Work with the planning department with the dispatch of Export shipments.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience of stock management and warehousing functions is preferred but not essential.
- Experience in supplier management again Beneficial.
- IT literate and experience with MS office
- Preferable experience in SAP or equivalent software systems
- Preferred but not essential to be a licensed forklift driver full training can be given
