Job description
We are seeking an experienced Property Solicitor to join our well-established and supportive Conveyancing Department, within a rapidly growing legal firm.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a full caseload of conveyancing transactions, including Freehold S&P to Leasehold S&P, remortgages, lease extensions, and other related transactions
- Providing legal advice and support to clients on all aspects of conveyancing law
- Drafting legal documents and contracts, including contracts of sale, transfers, and mortgage deeds
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other relevant parties to ensure a smooth and efficient transaction process
- Handling complex conveyancing matters and resolving any legal issues that may arise during the transaction process
- Conducting legal research and keeping up-to-date with changes in conveyancing law
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor/conveyancer
- Excellent knowledge of conveyancing law and the ability to work on a wide range of transactions, including Freehold S&P to Leasehold S&P, remortgages, lease extensions, and other related transactions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and relevant parties
- Proven ability to work under pressure and manage a large caseload effectively
- A commitment to providing excellent client service and delivering results
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work and a willingness to learn and develop within the role.
