Warehouse Operative – Shoal
Location: Waltham Cross, Herts
Salary: £12.10 (£25,168pa)
Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week (excluding breaks)
Shifts: Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm

Our Business is growing, and we need an additional Operative with basic Computer skills to help with all warehouse activities and maximize warehouse productivity.
We are looking for someone who is experienced in Picking and packing and to be an effective Operative within our Fish and seafood warehouse.
Key Responsibilities of each role:
- Assist in the packing of all fish products produced.
- Operate machinery and equipment as required (training provided)
- Basic skills in using Outlook, Excel, and word.
- Carry out a variety of cleaning duties as required.
- Minimising wastage
- Produce excellent quality packed products safely and efficiently to meet our customer and technical standard.
- Always comply with the food and hygiene requirements
- Attention to detail and accuracy with all tasks.
- Maintain the pace and standards of performance within the factory environment.
- Be responsible for maintaining all legalities, Health & Safety and HACCP control within the department in accordance with Company policy and strict legal guidelines.
- Perform other Operative duties as required.
Please note the role requires you to work in an ambient and chilled environment of a temperature of 3°c - 5°c, but not to worry – we will provide you with the necessary uniform, PPE, and equipment to keep you warm!
The successful candidate will possess the below skills, experience, and qualities:
- Previous Warehouse experience is desirable.
- Basic Computer skills – Excel, Word, Outlook etc
- Previous production/picking line experience would be an advantage.
- The ability to work methodically and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to load and unload goods (manual handling).
