‘We specialise in the installation, dismantling and relocation of Pallet Racking, Industrial Shelving, Cantilever Racking & Warehouse Systems. We also Design, Manufacture and Build Mezzanine Floors’.
Position: FLT Counterbalance Driver (With Warehouse Duties)
The role is wide ranging as to be expected within a busy firm. Picking, packing, loading, unloading. There is also a requirement to measure, cut and build frames for racking.
- Driving a FLT vehicle
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Accepting delivery of stock
- Counting and confirming stock.
- Marking and labelling stock.
- Storing stock in accessible manner.
- Loading and wrapping stock on pallets
- Preparing orders to be despatched daily
- Measure, cut and build frames for racking (steel pipes + Metal framing)
- Using power tools to build frames
We Are Looking For:
- Work experience as general labourer, preferably in an industrial warehouse.
- Must hold Forklift Licence and be able to operate forklift proficiently (A reach license would also be desirable but not essential.)
- Must be able to work alone, ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of work environment.
- Ability to maintain solid attendance.
- An engineering background would be desirable but not a requirement.
- Someone with the ability to read a tape measure and use power tools.
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday 8am – 4pm
- Friday 7.30am – 3.30pm
Pay: £10.77 -£11.50 per hour (Eventually Increases)
